Hey Roxman,

I hope all is well, thank you for the opportunity to take part in such an interesting project. I hope I answered your questions good and what I wrote makes sense to you.

1. To be a man is to not be afraid to show who you are. It goes beyond genitalia, it’s more of presenting yourself however you feel most comfortable.

2. Not being misgendered and mainly being perceived as a cisgender rather than the sex given at birth.

3. Yes it is, because it helps with dysphoria and being self conscious and it also plays a factor when it comes to bullying and harassment or just making friends and being judged in general.

4. Yes, I definitely think it is important. Masculinity due to society has been toxic for years and has become increasingly toxic like it has become very stereotypical that a man has to be a certain way. Especially in the fitness community and clothing brands you see a lot of body positivity towards women supporting plus sizes but for men it is always promoted as this tall, muscular man.

5. Trans joy to me means living as who I was meant to be, accepting myself and not let anyone tell me who I am or who I’m supposed to be.

As a donation I would like to give you a ball. When I was learning to walk I always wanted to kick around a ball and at that time a ball was stereotypically a boys toy and girls would play with dolls. So I chose this item as it represents my roots and it shows that since when I was young I always showed my true self and had a connection with who I am.

Hope everything I said is good and I hope the donation and description is good.

Thank you and regards,

Hope you’re good, as agreed the other day on fb, I’m sending you a couple of questions, please feel free to answer or not answer any of the following questions below.

1. In your opinion what does it mean to be a man?

2. What does passing mean to you?

3. Is it important for you to pass? why or why not?

4. Do you think it is important for us to challenge, and change aspects of masculinity that are problematic?

5. What does trans joy mean / feel to you?

Also if you know or have an idea what item you’re donating would you be able to write a small description about it too please?

Thank you !
